Would, kısıtlı sayıda durumda will modal eyleminin geçmişi olarak kullanılıyor. 5 ve 6 numaralı başlıklarda yer alan örnekler haricinde böyle bir durum yok. Would açısından bakış açımızı genişletmekte fayda var.

6) Aktarım cümlelerinde kullanılıyor (olacağını)

7) Geçmişte isteksizlik belirtiyor (bir türlü olmadı)
